Louisiana woman working as hairstylist charged with trafficking Texas teen while out on bond
HARRIS COUNTY, TX – The Harris County Sheriff’s Office recently located and rescued a 16-year-old runaway who was reportedly being trafficked. The rescue followed several days of searching for the missing teen, who is now safely in custody according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.
Kaylyn L. Redding, a 22-year-old woman from Louisiana, has been charged with felony promotion of prostitution involving a minor, a first-degree felony. The case is registered under Case No. 189071601010. This latest charge follows a previous prostitution-related offense for which Redding was out on bond; that case, filed in June under Case No. 251409201010-2, is also in Harris County District Court.
