Small airplane crashes in field after crashing into trees

SUSSEX COUNTY, DE - According to the Roxana Volunteer Fire Company, firefighters were dispatched just before 4 p.m. to 34775 Rickards Road for a plane crash. The aircraft was found upside down at the end of a field, having fallen from the trees that it crashed into. Credit: Millville Volunteer Fire Company The sole occupant of the plane was located outside the aircraft with minor injuries. The aircraft was secured with no fuel leaks, and Sussex County Paramedics tended to the pilot, who refused transport. Multiple fire and police from the area also assisted including Delaware State Police.
