A suspect named Jose Fernandez, 24, has been arrested and charged with murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in connection with a fatal shooting at 7808 Bellfort Avenue on March 8. One man was found dead at the scene while another was taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds. Fernandez was identified as the suspect through a preliminary investigation, and he was later arrested and admitted to his role in the incident. The identity of the deceased victim is pending notification to family members.

February 27, 2023 - According to the Houston Police Department, Victor Jonatan Gallegos Betancourh, 26, has been charged with aggravated assault of a family member in the 177th State District Court for shooting a 20-year-old woman at 8400 Scott Street. Gallegos Betancourh was detained by officers after he returned to the scene, and further investigation determined he was responsible for the shooting. The Harris County District Attorney's Office was consulted, and charges were filed against him.

Houston, Texas - A lawsuit has been filed against CenterPoint Energy, Inc. in the Harris County court over a fatal crash that took place at the intersection of South Gessner Road and Neff Street in Houston, Texas on December 24, 2021. The suit has been brought by the surviving family members of the deceased, Juan A Sapon and Marta Santizo, who died as a result of the collision. According to the court documents, Juan A Sapon and Marta Santizo were traveling eastbound in their car and were stopped at a stop sign before proceeding to enter the intersection. Suddenly, they were hit by a car operated by Alessio Bevinetto, who was traveling at a high speed and fled the scene. January 24, 2023 - A 20-year-old Houston man has been charged with capital murder after investigators were able to recently obtain new information that connected him to a murder that occurred back in 2022.
