FORT WORTH, TEXAS, Feb. 6, 2024 - A Fort Worth Fire Department firefighter is in critical condition following an early morning accident involving a fire truck. Houston Police Seek Help to Find Driver in Fatal Hit-and-Run Incident

HOUSTON - A fatal hit-and-run crash occurred at 400 Parker Road at approximately 11:05 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 30, prompting an investigation by Houston police. The deceased has been identified as 38-year-old Raymond Martinez, who is pictured below. The driver involved did not stop to render aid and immediately fled the scene. Houston Fire Department paramedics declared Martinez deceased at the scene of the accident. February 5, 2024 - In Spring, Texas, the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office District 2 Patrol Division arrested two suspects on February 2, 2024, for mail theft following a report of theft in progress around 11 p.m. at the 2300 Block of Legends Gate Drive. The report, made by a caller who observed the suspects stealing mail and fleeing in a Lincoln Town Car, prompted deputies to swiftly locate and stop the suspect vehicle. Upon conducting a traffic stop, 40-year-old Christopher McCaffrey and 33-year-old Maygain Leija, both from Houston, Texas, were identified as the suspects. February 5, 2024 - A man was arrested for indecent exposure on February 3, 2024, after a deputy from Constable Mark Herman's office (Precinct 4) spotted him in a public parking lot of a restaurant on the 4600 block of FM 1960 Road, intentionally exposing his sexual organs to customers. The suspect, identified as Patrick Sandifer, was observed exposing his genitals to nearby customers. Following his detention and identification, Sandifer was arrested and charged with Indecent Exposure. He was subsequently booked into the Harris County Jail, with his bond set at $100.00, as confirmed by Constable Mark Herman. The charges were filed in County Court 14.

Suspects Arrested for Illuminating a Texas DPS Aircraft Pilot with a Laser

On February 1, 2024, deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office were dispatched to the 11300 block of Lodge Run Lane in response to a report from a Texas Department of Public Safety Aircraft Pilot. The pilot reported the aircraft being targeted with a laser. Upon arrival, deputies detained two male suspects, identified as Leonel Vasquez and Artemio Gonzales. Gonzales was discovered to have an active warrant for Tampering with Government Record. Both suspects were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail. Leonel Vasquez was charged with Illumination of Aircraft by Intense Light, while Artemio Gonzales faced charges based on the outstanding warrant. As of now, their bonds and court dates have not been established.

At approximately 3:20 a.m., deputies and officers responded to a 911 call from a woman reporting that three masked males forcibly entered her home, shooting her husband multiple times before fleeing. The victim was identified as 37-year-old Steven Santillan of Montgomery County, Texas.
