HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A man was fatally shot in northeast Harris County after an altercation that occurred on Saturday around 6 p.m. The incident took place in the 5200 block of Aldine Mail Route, in the U-turn lane underneath the Eastex Freeway. According to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, the confrontation began when a man, later identified as the victim, exited a Ford Explorer and approached a light-colored sedan. The initial altercation involved the victim striking the male driver of the sedan. In response, the driver of the sedan retrieved a pistol and fired at the man, striking him. Noah was last known to be with his 38-year-old mother, Kamilah Antoinette Johnson, on February 6, 2024, in the area of the 11400 block of Space Center Boulevard, Houston. At the time of his disappearance, Noah was described as wearing a navy shirt and flower print pants. On Friday, February 2, 2024, at approximately 6:47 PM, Deputy A. Peters of Constable Phil Sandlin’s Office was dispatched to a crash in the 6500 block of SH 225. Upon arrival, Deputy Peters observed the vehicle in a ditch and identified the driver as 48-year-old Rachel Quezada Sorola. During the interaction, Deputy Peters noted multiple signs of intoxication from Sorola and conducted the Standardized Field Sobriety Test, which Sorola failed, indicating she was not fit to operate a vehicle safely.
