According to police, officers responded to the townhome after the man pulled out a pistol and threatened his father. Officers were able to get the father and the mother out of the townhome safely but the male suspect barricaded himself in the garage that he lives in. Authorities hope these technological advances will generate new leads and help close the longstanding case. The remains, identified as those of a dark-haired white male approximately 6 feet tall and weighing between 180-185 pounds, were originally discovered on June 11, 1964, off FM 359 near the Jones Creek bridge. HOUSTON, July 14, 2024 – Jesus Ventura Lopez, 17, has been charged with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon following a shooting incident at 7400 Walker Street around 9:10 a.m. on Sunday. The 57-year-old victim was critically injured and is currently receiving treatment at a local hospital. According to HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division patrol officers responded to a call at a residence near the incident location and found the victim with a gunshot wound. HOUSTON, July 15, 2024 – Ralph Sample, 67, has been charged with murder in connection with the stabbing death of Paulette Francis, 62. The incident occurred at 8435 Tidwell Road around 2:55 p.m. on Monday. Houston Police Department (HPD) officers discovered Francis unresponsive, covered by blankets, following a report of a deceased person at the location. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced her dead at the scene. An investigation revealed that Francis had sustained multiple stab wounds. HOUSTON, July 18, 2024 – Charges have been filed against a suspect wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of a woman. The shooting occurred in the 11900 block of 7th Street at approximately 1:15 p.m. on April 21, 2024. Back in April, HPD was called after a report of a shooting. There, they found the victim, Rosenda Garcia Hernandez unresponsive in her vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds. She was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Houston Fire Department. According to the Houston Police Department's Homicide Division, witnesses stated at the time that a man walked up to Garcia Hernandez's vehicle before shooting multiple times into the vehicle. FOR BEND COUNTY, TX (July 2, 2024) - Deputies with the Fort Bend County Sheriff's office have arrested a 33-year-old man by the name of Emilio Cruz, Jr., who they say hit a cyclist and left him in a ditch. Emilio Cruz Jr. (FBCSO) According to the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office, construction workers found the cyclist on June 11, 2024 in the 6900 block of FM 361 near Pine Meadow Lane in Needville, TX. When deputies arrived they found 61-year-old Enrique Gomez in a drainage ditch and a damaged bicycle nearby. Enrique was pronounced deceased at the scene. Montgomery man uses artificial intelligence to create child pornography

MONTGOMERY, TX - According to Constable Ryan Gable, of Montgomery County Precinct 3, their Human Trafficking Unit started an investigation into Roman Shoffner, a 30-year-old man living in Montgomery County back on May 15, 2024, for Child Pornography. Through the investigation, investigators determined that Shoffner used an artificial intelligence program to alter a picture of a 17-year-old's photo by having the app depict what the 17-year-old's body would look like without clothes. Detectives then seized his phone and had it forensically analyzed and obtained enough probable cause to arrest him for Child Pornography. Shoffner was then arrested on June 28, 2024.

Suspected drug dealer arrested during traffic stop

HARRIS COUNTY, TX - A suspected drug dealer was arrested during a traffic stop in the 13000 block of T.C. Jester Blvd in northwest Harris County on June 30, 2024. According to Constable Mark Herman, Harris County Precinct 4 deputies pulled over Aaron Reyes and during the traffic stop he was to be in possession of "a mini-AK-47, 2.24 grams of Xanax, 12.22 grams of Oxycodone and $11,000.00 in U.S. Currency." He was booked into Harris County Jail and charged with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute as well as unlawful carry of a weapon. His bond has not yet been set and he remains in jail at this time.

Josephine was last seen wearing a white sleeveless shirt and a black skirt.
