Post Oak and Beltway 8 in southwest Houston, early Saturday morning. At around 2:30 a.m., police were chasing a stolen vehicle in Southwest Houston. The suspect's vehicle ended up in someone's yard after the suspect lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle, a silver Hyundai Elantra had Florida license plates could be seen in the yard in front of 15506 Corsair Rd. The suspect bailed and fired at officers. Man fatally shot during an altercation at King’s Cove Luxury Apartments in Kingwood, TX

A man was fatally shot during what police believe was an altercation at King's Cove Luxury Apartments in Kingwood (4920 Magnolia Cove) Texas. According to Lt. Issac Jefferson with the Houston Police Department, the man was found by officers who were responding to a report of a shooting, on a sidewalk between two apartment buildings in the complex. He was pronounced deceased on the scene. It is unclear what led up to the shooting but Lt. Jefferson stated that he was in an apartment with two other males and a female before an altercation broke out inside the upstairs apartment. Suspects lead HPD on a chase through Houston’s Fifth Ward

The chase ended shortly after 4 a.m. in the 3000 Block of Jewel St., when the suspects realized it was a dead-end. The driver was detained immediately. Two passengers fled, and one of them was caught after a few minutes. K-9 units and a Helicopter Unit were on the scene assisting in the search. A police chase ended after suspects crashed their car in a field, just east of downtown Houston on July 20, 2022 just after 2 a.m. Two suspects were detained shortly after the crash, and one suspect, a woman, remained on the loose. The suspects crashed their vehicle, a Nissan Maxima, close to the intersection of Leeland and Emancipation Avenue. Two people were shot after good samaritans intervened to stop a mother from being assaulted while walking with her baby

Police say the suspect and the mother, who was walking with her baby at the time, were arguing when he decided to assault her. A group of samaritans saw her being attacked and decided to attack the suspect. After the attack, the suspect came back with a gun and fired multiple rounds into a crowd outside AM Mini Mart in Southeast Houston. Two victims were transported to a local hospital. Lt. J.P. Horelica of the Houston Police Department stated in a press briefing that southeast patrol units responded to the shooting and found two victims. According to Lt. Four people, between the ages of 16 and 25 are dead after an argument broke out in the courtyard of an apartment complex in Harris County, TX according to a tweet sent out by Sheriff Ed Gonzalez. "Last night, around 11:20 pm, @HCSOTexas units responded to an apt complex located at 2331 Bammelwood. Units found four persons with gunshot wounds; three were confirmed deceased on the scene and a fourth was transported to a hospital in critical condition. It appears an argument between two parties led to the shooting. Follow-up investigation is underway by Homicide and CSI.". The Houston Police Department along with the Houston Fire Department responded to a report of someone firing into the water (Greens Bayou) in the 13100 block of Northborough Dr, and that someone may have been shot around 10 p.m. on July 11, 2022. The shooting occurred in the Greenspoint area of Houston, TX. When the first responders arrived, they found a truck inside Greens Bayou that had been left running. Harris County, TX - A woman was arrested in Harris County after a warrant was issued for her arrest and deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office conducted a raid at her office on JFK Boulevard, near Bush Intercontinental Airport for taking part in a scheme to defraud financial institutions of more than $3.3 million dollars. According to the court documents, filed in Harris County District Court, Roekeicha Lashay Brisby of "Rose Credit Repair", would charge customers between $100 and $200 a month to fix their credit. A shoplifter is dead after grabbing a deputy’s taser in NW Harris County

According to Sgt. Jason Brown during a press briefing, the incident started around 6:30 p.m., at the Dollar General located at 2004 W FM 1960 in Houston. Brown states the employees called the police after the man was caught shoplifting and pushing a manager. Deputies responded to the call and a Harris County Seargent, and a 15-year veteran with the department spotted him just south of the Dollar General. At that point, the Seargent tried to stop the suspect but he fled on foot and made it about 100 yards before the officer caught up to him. Once the officer. caught up to the suspect, a fight ensued.
