LCPD seeks assistance identifying suspect in $1,000 theft

LEAGUE CITY, TX – League City Police are requesting the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a theft at a local Lowe’s store. According to Detective Thiara with the League City Police Department, the suspect was seen last month pushing a shopping cart out of the store with unpaid merchandise valued at over $1,000. On November 11, 2024, deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office responded to a distressing call at the Hi Tek Washateria in the 13000 block of Kuykendahl Road, where a six-year-old child was reportedly locked inside a clothing dryer. Upon arrival, deputies located the visibly shaken and crying child. Constable deputies moved to detain suspects on scene, leading to a foot chase when a male suspect attempted to evade. November 11, 2024 – Two Houston Police officers were injured in a crash that occurred following a pursuit of a white Suburban that began in the Greenspoint Mall parking lot overnight. https://youtu.be/chnnLY_pIpU The incident started around 9:06 p.m. when officers observed several vehicles driving recklessly in the parking area of Greenspoint Mall. After they activated their emergency equipment, a white Suburban was spotted driving recklessly, narrowly missing two other vehicles as it exited the lot and continued driving the wrong-way, and ran multiple red lights. Woman critically injured after chasing man in Aldine Bender crash

November 11, 2024 – Harris County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a crash linked to an alleged domestic violence incident on the 1900 block of Aldine Bender Road around 3:40 a.m. this morning. https://youtu.be/lCKFOS4isGU According to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, a disturbance occurred between a man and woman at their residence, resulting in the man leaving in a vehicle. The woman reportedly pursued him in a separate vehicle, and during the chase, she allegedly rammed his vehicle, causing it to veer off the road and collide with an awning. Both individuals were transported to a hospital. The man is reported to be in good condition, while the woman remains in surgery in critical condition.

January 15, 2023 - Just after 2 a.m. in north Houston, partygoers were met with gunfire outside of a club in the parking lot. The incident happened outside of a nightclub on FM 1960 in northwest Harris County. According to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, multiple shooters arrived in the club parking lot, and started to open fire on people outside in the parking lot. Both 7.62 rounds and 5.62 rounds were found at the scene. In total, at least fifty casings were recovered. There is no word on what started the incident. January 15, 2023 - A man was shot outside of his parent's home in the 15000 block of Ridingwood in Missouri City, TX. Police say an unknown suspect walked up to the man who was with his girlfriend at the time and fired one shot. The suspect then left the scene on foot. It is not known if he had a vehicle waiting down the street. Paramedics with the Houston Fire Department pronounced the man deceased at the scene.
