HOUSTON, TX – Over a year after the fatal road rage shooting of Louise Wilson, authorities are still searching for the suspect responsible for the deadly attack on the Pierce Elevated. The shooting occurred on December 10, 2023, at approximately 1:00 a.m. in the 1700 block of IH-45 Southbound, on Pierce Elevated. Wilson and two friends were traveling to Galveston when a black sedan sped up beside their vehicle and fired multiple rounds into the driver’s side. According to the Houston Police Department, Andres Verarodriguez was walking in the main lanes when he was hit by a white Dodge Ram pickup truck traveling southbound. The crash occurred around 3:40 a.m. in the 200 block of East Loop North (East Interstate Highway 610 North). According to the Houston Police Department, a white Chevrolet Malibu was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes when it struck a red Chevrolet Traverse head-on. The driver and male passenger in the Malibu were pronounced deceased by Houston Fire Department paramedics.
