67-year-old man shot while sitting behind store in Houston by man on bicycle

HOUSTON, TX – A 67-year-old man was shot in the leg Saturday night while sitting behind a store in the 7600 block of MLK Boulevard. https://youtu.be/e23zG7In86E The shooting occurred around 10 p.m. when a suspect reportedly approached the victim on a bicycle and shot him. The suspect is described as a dark-skinned Black male, estimated to be between 25 and 30 years old, wearing shorts, a white muscle shirt, and black flip-flops. After the shooting, the suspect fled the scene on the bicycle. According to the victim, he does not know the suspect and is unaware of any motive for the attack. HOUSTON, TX - Adiel Alexander Sandoval, 17, had his first court hearing overnight. He is accused of murdering three people, including two teenagers at the Tierra Del Sol apartment complex Tuesday. The deceased individuals have been identified as Eddie Gomez, 17, Jonathan Hernandez, 17, and Juan Trejo Sandoval, 23. According to HPD's Homicide Division patrol officers responded to reports of a shooting on Tuesday and found Gomez and Hernandez unresponsive in the complex’s laundry room. According to Chief Munoz, firefighters responded to the blaze at 10:50 p.m., with units arriving on scene six minutes later. A second alarm was issued shortly after their arrival, and at 11:04 p.m., a mayday call was made when a wall collapsed and trapped firefighters.
