Two killed in high-speed crash on Highway 6 in Houston

HOUSTON, TX – Two people were killed in a high-speed crash after a vehicle struck a utility pole and flipped multiple times in west Houston. https://youtu.be/Ch4xf74rKk8 The accident occurred around 2:30 a.m. in the 2900 block of Highway 6 North. According to police, a Toyota RAV4 was traveling southbound on Highway 6 at a high rate of speed when, for unknown reasons, it left the roadway. The vehicle struck a utility pole, flipped several times, hit nearby trees, and came to rest upside down. Cy-Fair EMS responded to the scene and found a female who had been ejected from the vehicle and a male who had to be extracted from the wreckage. Both were pronounced deceased at the scene. The shooting occurred on December 10, 2023, at approximately 1:00 a.m. in the 1700 block of IH-45 Southbound, on Pierce Elevated. HOUSTON, TX – Two men were killed after a wrong-way driver collided head-on with another vehicle on East Loop North early Saturday morning.
