HOUSTON, TX - 8 year old Ana, 15 year old Evelen and 11 year old Julisa Zelaya were killed in a fire that broke out yesterday morning at a condo complex in southwest Houston. https://youtu.be/SvyzpdzmzLo A passerby called 911 after noticing a fire in the 8100 block of Albacore just before 6 a.m. Firefighters arrived 4 minutes later but it was already too late. A 21 year old who was able to escape the fire tried to go back in several times but was unsuccessful. He was taken to the hospital for minor injuries and smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

HOUSTON, TX - One man is dead after being found outside with a gunshot wound in his head following an apartment fight by his roommates. https://youtu.be/K19q0gBehbg?si=g1hobCq0rbjTh5bd The victim was found in the 6200 block of Elm near Rampart a little after 2 a.m. this morning. According to the Houston Police Department, Two roommates got into a fistfight inside an apartment while they were drinking and barbecuing. A third roommate was able to de-escalate the situation and everyone went to bed. At one point the victim ran from the apartment and they went to look for him but couldn’t find him. HOUSTON, TX - A major crash involving a HPD patrol vehicle occurred in the 2300 block of Preston just before 6 a.m. this morning. It appears that one other civilian vehicle was involved but it is not known at this time what caused the crash. We are working to gather more information about this accident and will update this page as soon as we learn more.

HOUSTON, TX - The Houston Fire Department responded to a report of a fire in the back of the Palms on Westheimer Apartment complex a little before 5 a.m. this morning. https://youtu.be/hIp39AAgjhA Firefighters were able to extinguish it rather quickly and there was not any damage to the nearby properties.

HOUSTON, TX - A pedestrian was struck by a pickup truck and transported to a nearby hospital late Friday night in the 2100 block of Lockwood. https://youtu.be/LdZHp6OLDLc According to a witness, a pickup truck was traveling down Lockwood when it swerved to avoid another vehicle that was about to cross Lockwood. As the truck was swerving, it struck a pedestrian. The truck then fled the scene. The pedestrian's status is currently unknown at this time and we will update you as we learn more.

HOUSTON, TX - A woman was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds at an apartment complex Friday night. https://youtu.be/PKyHG0tmi60 According to the Houston Police Department, the woman was found in one of the garage hallways of 1711 Caroline, an apartment complex in Downtown Houston. She was found shortly after 11 p.m. The Houston Fire Department pronounced her deceased at the scene. Police do not have a suspect or motive for the shooting at this time.
