HOUSTON, TX - The Houston Fire Department responded to a report of a fire in the back of the Palms on Westheimer Apartment complex a little before 5 a.m. this morning. https://youtu.be/hIp39AAgjhA Firefighters were able to extinguish it rather quickly and there was not any damage to the nearby properties.

HOUSTON, TX - A pedestrian was struck by a pickup truck and transported to a nearby hospital late Friday night in the 2100 block of Lockwood. https://youtu.be/LdZHp6OLDLc According to a witness, a pickup truck was traveling down Lockwood when it swerved to avoid another vehicle that was about to cross Lockwood. As the truck was swerving, it struck a pedestrian. The truck then fled the scene. The pedestrian's status is currently unknown at this time and we will update you as we learn more.

HOUSTON, TX - A woman was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds at an apartment complex Friday night. https://youtu.be/PKyHG0tmi60 According to the Houston Police Department, the woman was found in one of the garage hallways of 1711 Caroline, an apartment complex in Downtown Houston. She was found shortly after 11 p.m. The Houston Fire Department pronounced her deceased at the scene. Police do not have a suspect or motive for the shooting at this time. HOUSTON, TX - An Uber driver was killed early Sunday morning after another vehicle struck his while he was trying to make repairs on the freeway. https://youtu.be/MqDs-qFmBB8?si=xCCIk-DoAcxIuUJ7 This occurred on the East Freeway near Kress shortly before 4 a.m. According to police, the Uber driver, in a Toyota Camry hit something that disabled his vehicle. He then moved to what he believed was the emergency lane but it was a moving lane of traffic. Both the rider and the driver exited the vehicle to see what was wrong. The rider got back into the vehicle and the Uber driver stayed outside of the vehicle to try and repair it. At one point, another vehicle, believed to be a dark pickup truck struck the Toyota Camry. HOUSTON, TX - Witnesses came to the aid of a man and called 911 after he was shot in a parking lot multiple times in southeast Houston. https://youtu.be/k9QowazMHfM The shooting occurred around 1:00 a.m. in the 10600 block of Cullen According to the Houston Police Department, an adult male victim was shot multiple times in his torso and his upper extremities in the parking lot. Witnesses then came to the victim's aid and called 911. The man was then transported to the hospital by the Houston Fire Department in stable condition. At this time, there is no suspect description but the suspect was said to be driving a gray Jeep Wrangler. HOUSTON, TX - A bystander was shot in the leg during an attempted robbery of a chain. https://youtu.be/FX5yvpW4KP8 The shooting occurred in the 700 block of E. Tidwell just after 2 a.m. According to the Houston Police Department, the attempted robbery occurred in the back of the parking lot. The victim of the robbery was not injured and was in a silver truck. A bystander however, was shot but is expected to survive. HOUSTON, TX - A suspect was shot while trying to break into an apartment in west Houston. https://youtu.be/jaByhR3h7Vk The attempted home invasion and shooting occurred in the 10600 block of Beechnut at the Sunset Crossing Apartment Homes. According to the Houston Police Department, a woman called police stating there were 4 to 5 men outside her home with rifles and they were pounding on her door. At one point, the men forced entry into her home and occupants inside the apartment exchanged gunfire with the suspects. One of the suspects was struck multiple times in the head and was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
