HOUSTON, TX – A man was pronounced deceased after crashing his vehicle into a tree in front of the Memorial City Westin early Saturday morning. https://youtu.be/urK5kpmsgOw The crash occurred around 12:40 a.m. in the 900 block of Gessner. According to witnesses, they did not see the accident but reported hearing the crash. When they arrived, they found an older black Chevrolet Tahoe had collided with a tree. The driver, a male believed to be around 50 years old, was the only occupant in the vehicle. Officers arrived at the scene and attempted CPR, but he was pronounced deceased. HOUSTON, TX – A man was found deceased with an apparent stab wound to the chest on a road in Southeast Houston on Friday night. https://youtu.be/c0W8CqlOIEU The incident occurred in the 2300 block of Maxwell around 10 p.m. Witnesses reported seeing the male lying on the side of the road. Officers arrived and pronounced him deceased at the scene. The victim, an adult male believed to be in his early 20s, has not yet been identified. Investigators believe the stabbing occurred between 10:00 and 10:30 p.m., but the exact time is unknown. A blood trail extended into a nearby apartment complex. HOUSTON, TX – Officers responded to an officer-involved shooting Friday night after a juvenile suspect displayed a firearm while fleeing from police. The victim of the hit-and-run reported that individuals inside the vehicle had displayed firearms. According to the Houston Police Department’s Vehicular Crimes Division, the driver of a white Ford Expedition had a flat tire and stopped in a moving lane of traffic. A black Kia Sportage struck the rear of the Ford, and a silver BMW 5 Series then collided with the Kia. The unknown male driver of the Ford fled the scene on foot.
