According to deputies, the vehicle was traveling southbound at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control, causing the car to strike a tree in the center median. The impact was so severe that the vehicle’s engine separated and struck another southbound vehicle. Fortunately, no one in the second vehicle was injured. BAYTOWN, TX – On January 9, 2025, Leondre Lynn, 17, a person of interest in the December 29, 2024, fatal shooting of a 25-year-old man in Baytown, turned himself in to the Port Arthur Police Department.
