HARRIS COUNTY, TX – The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting at the Haverstock Hills Apartments located in the 5600 block of Aldine Bender Road. Credit: HCSO Deputies responded to the call and found one adult male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to the hospital by EMS. HOUSTON, TX – A motorcyclist was killed in a crash near the intersection of Furman Street and Lockcrest Drive. The fatal accident occurred in South Houston, but further details surrounding the circumstances of the crash have not been released at this time. HOUSTON, TX – A major crash with a confirmed fatality has shut down all eastbound lanes of the IH-10 East Freeway at Waco Street. Houston Police and Houston Fire Department crews are on scene after a vehicle reportedly caught fire during the crash. Authorities confirmed at least one person is deceased. Drivers are urged to avoid the area and exit the freeway at Nance or Gregg to take Clinton Road east as an alternate route. More information will follow if it becomes available.

HARRIS COUNTY, TX – The Atascocita Fire Department responded to a report of smoke in a building at Fountainwood at Lake Houston on W. Lake Houston Parkway. All responding units have since cleared the scene, and the smoke investigation has been completed. There were no reports of injuries or fire damage.
