During the deal, both produced firearms and exchanged gunfire. One victim, a Black male in his late teens, was transported from the scene to a local hospital and is in critical condition. MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX – Deputies with Constable Ryan Gable’s Precinct 3 Office responded to a fatal shooting at the AutoZone Auto Parts store located at 28803 Birnham Woods Drive on Saturday morning. According to officials, the incident occurred around 9:50 a.m., when witnesses reported hearing gunshots inside the store. Upon arrival, deputies found a male employee who had succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds. Witness accounts led to a swift response, and deputies from both Precinct 3 and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office apprehended the suspect in the nearby Legends Run subdivision.
