Suspected drug dealer, two others arrested after Livingston Police seize nearly a pound of meth
LIVINGSTON, TX – Officers with the Livingston Police Department executed a multi-stage drug enforcement operation early Thursday morning that resulted in three arrests and the seizure of nearly a pound of methamphetamine.
According to the Livingston Police Department, officers from multiple shifts and divisions first initiated a traffic stop around 1 a.m. on Highway 190 West. K9 Bear alerted on the suspect vehicle, prompting a search. Multiple baggies of methamphetamine were discovered inside a hidden compartment in the backseat. The driver, identified as 61-year-old John Way, was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance. A female passenger was also arrested for outstanding warrants related to a local theft case.
