HOUSTON, TX – A woman is in critical condition after being assaulted by an unknown male outside a northwest Houston residence Saturday night.
The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. in the 4200 block of Lockfield.
According to Houston Police, the woman arrived at the location via a rideshare when she was followed by a black sedan. An unknown male exited the vehicle and assaulted her with a club or bat before fleeing the scene in the same sedan.
Officers arrived and rendered aid before the victim was transported to a local hospital, where she remains in critical condition.
