HOUSTON, TX – A man was shot early Saturday morning during an attempted robbery in southeast Houston.
The incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. in the 2400 block of Southmore. According to police, officers in the area were flagged down and found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the back. Officers rendered aid before the victim was transported to a local hospital.
The victim told police he was meeting with a woman at the location when four African-American males approached and demanded money. He attempted to flee but was shot in the back.
