HOUSTON, TX – A man called 911 after he shot and killed his wife Saturday night.
The Houston Police Department responded to a shooting in the 9700 block of Tuffly after a man called police stating he shot his wife.
When officers arrived, the man was lying down in front of the home and was promptly taken into custody.
Police then went into the home and found his wife in the back of the home with a gunshot wound to the head or face area.
She was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The motive remains unknown at this time.
The husband was interviewed by detectives at police headquarters and is being charged with murder.
