Charges are now filed against 21-year-old Christopher Pete Santos in connection to a fatal shooting at 5600 Antoine Drive. Santos faces murder charges in the 185th State District Court.
The identity of the male victim is currently pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division reported that officers received multiple calls about a minor crash and shooting at the specified address. Upon arrival, they discovered the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
Santos, the shooter, was detained by officers, who also recovered the weapon used in the incident. Detectives interviewed witnesses and found that the victim and Santos had been involved in a minor crash. The situation escalated into a verbal argument, culminating in Santos shooting the victim multiple times. Santos was taken into custody and has since been charged in connection with the incident
