Two teens critically injured in hit-and-run crash in north Houston

HOUSTON, TX – Two teenage girls were seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash early Sunday morning in north Houston.

According to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office responded to a crash near the 100 block of Hill Road and Airline Drive. Preliminary information indicates that two 15-year-old girls were riding a bicycle when they were struck by a vehicle that fled the scene.

One teen was transported to a hospital in critical condition, and the other remains in serious condition.

Deputies have located the suspected vehicle, a black 2008 Audi, and are working to identify and locate the driver involved.
