HARRIS COUNTY, TX – One person was killed and six others were injured in a shooting at a gas station gathering Saturday night in east Harris County.
The shooting occurred around 10 p.m. in the 13100 block of Crosby Lynchburg Road. According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrived to find a chaotic scene with approximately 100 individuals in a parking lot, possibly attending a benefit.
Seven people, ranging in age from 16 to 25, were shot. The victims include five males and two females. One individual was later pronounced deceased at the hospital.
Two of the victims were transported by LifeFlight. The remaining victims were taken to local hospitals or clinics.
No suspects have been identified or detained, and no weapons have been recovered.
