HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A man was found fatally shot early Sunday in east Harris County, and the suspect remains at large.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a shooting call around 12:20 a.m. in the 700 block of Harding Street. Upon arrival, they discovered an unidentified male, approximately 40 years old, unresponsive in a bedroom with apparent gunshot wounds. EMS personnel arrived and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
Deputies learned that an unknown suspect also robbed a female at gunpoint before fleeing the scene in a pickup truck.
HCSO Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators responded to conduct a follow-up investigation. The victim’s identity is pending notification of next of kin.
