LA PORTE, TX – Police are investigating an incident at the Brookglen Community Center parking lot where residents believe a teenager was shot. This information has not yet been confirmed by authorities.
The La Porte Office of Emergency Management (OEM) stated that Air Medical transported one patient from the scene. The landing occurred on Somerton Drive in the Brookglen neighborhood, prompting road closures and increased emergency activity.
Police remain at the scene as the investigation continues. No further details have been released at this time but we will update you as soon as we learn more.
