According to Harris County Precinct 8 Constable’s Office, a deputy was monitoring traffic around 3 p.m. in the 3300 block of El Dorado Blvd. when a red and black motorcycle was observed entering the school zone at a high rate of speed. The rider, later identified as Spencer Domin, aggressively braked to reduce speed and narrowly avoided colliding with another vehicle.

Despite braking, the motorcycle was clocked at 50 mph in the 20 mph zone using LIDAR. Domin then accelerated again while still within the school zone. He was eventually stopped at the intersection of Clear Lake City Blvd. and El Dorado Blvd.

The Harris County District Attorney’s Office accepted a charge of reckless driving against Domin. He was booked into the Harris County Joint Processing Center and is awaiting arraignment.
