HOUSTON, TX – A man is in critical condition after being shot in the stomach by his partner during an argument early Sunday morning.
The shooting occurred around 2:30 a.m. in the 2400 block of Wilburforce in the Acres Homes area of Houston.
According to police, officers responded to a shooting call and found the male victim, who was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Investigators stated the victim and the suspect were in a relationship, and the argument between the two escalated, leading to the shooting. The suspect has been detained.
