Man stabbed in stomach near Northeast Airport bus stop

PHILADELPHIA, PA – A man was reportedly stabbed in the stomach near a bus stop at Roosevelt Boulevard and Red Lion Road in the Northeast Airport area.

Video footage from the Citizen app shows police taping off the bus stop as their investigation continues.

According to initial reports, from the Citizen app, the incident began with a 911 call around 6:04 p.m. on Monday, alerting police and rescue to the scene. Police confirmed at 6:07 p.m. that the victim had been stabbed. Witnesses reported seeing a male suspect playing a harmonica at the bus stop shortly before the stabbing. There is no update on his condition.
