HOUSTON, TX – Charges have been filed against a suspect in connection with a shooting that critically injured a man in the parking lot of the Family Dollar located at 5723 Bingle Road.
The shooting occurred around 11:45 a.m. The victim, a 19-year-old male, was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
According to the Houston Police Department’s Homicide Division, officers responding to the scene received witness descriptions of the suspect’s vehicle. Officers located the vehicle and detained a male and female occupant. After further investigation, Christopher Enrique Torres was identified as the suspect and subsequently charged and booked into the Harris County Jail.
