HOUSTON, TX – Two teenagers were shot during a physical altercation early Sunday morning in southeast Houston.
The incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. in the 9600 block of Clearwood. According to the victims’ statements, both 15-year-olds were in a courtyard when an unknown male approached and initiated a physical altercation. The suspect managed to pull out a firearm during the struggle.
One victim was grazed in the lower extremities, while the other was shot multiple times in the torso. The victim shot in the torso transported themselves to a local hospital and was later life-flighted to Texas Children’s Hospital in serious condition. The second victim, with a graze wound to her legs, is in stable condition and expected to survive.
