Life Flight called after a female was found shot in the chest in Cypress

CYPRESS, TX – A female victim was found with a gunshot wound to the chest in the 14200 block of Cornelia Drive, according to Constable Mark Herman, Pct. 4 via X.

Life Flight was called to transport the victim but the extent of her injuries remains unknown at this time. One male was detained, but police have not released his role in the shooting, if any.

Cheval and Loyola Drive are currently shut down by emergency crews.

Constable Deputies have a male detained at this time.
