HOUSTON, TX – According to initial reports from the Citizen app, a confrontation at a car meetup ended in gunfire, leaving two people dead and one injured along the Northwest Freeway monday night.
Video footage from the Citizen app shows the aftermath of the shooting in a parking lot. Preliminary findings from the Houston Police Department indicate that a man opened fire after encountering his ex-girlfriend with another man. The gunman shot the woman multiple times, then shot the man accompanying her, before turning the firearm on himself.
The woman and the suspect were pronounced deceased at the scene. The male victim is currently receiving treatment at a local hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.
