HOUSTON, TX – A community fundraiser titled “Caps & Towns” is scheduled to take place April 26 in East Downtown Houston to raise money for graduating students in need of caps and gowns.
The event will be held at Saint Charles Studio, located at 912 St. Charles St., with doors opening at 8 p.m. Entry is $10 at the door, and additional donations can be made online via the link in @LIFTTEXAS’s Instagram bio.
According to event organizers, the goal is to help as many students as possible—particularly first-generation and immigrant youth—celebrate graduation with pride and dignity. The evening will feature live music and local vendors, and the community is encouraged to participate and support the cause.
The event is hosted in collaboration with @undergroundvillage_ and @mijaculture. Organizers are also welcoming local artists who wish to perform to reach out via direct message.
