Man found fatally stabbed on road in Southeast Houston

HOUSTON, TX – A man was found deceased with an apparent stab wound to the chest on a road in Southeast Houston on Friday night.

The incident occurred in the 2300 block of Maxwell around 10 p.m. Witnesses reported seeing the male lying on the side of the road. Officers arrived and pronounced him deceased at the scene.

The victim, an adult male believed to be in his early 20s, has not yet been identified. Investigators believe the stabbing occurred between 10:00 and 10:30 p.m., but the exact time is unknown. A blood trail extended into a nearby apartment complex.
