HOUSTON, TX – A person was killed in a house fire this morning in the Rice Military neighborhood.
The Houston Fire Department responded to the blaze in the 5400 block of Floyd Street. According to the Houston Fire Department, firefighters encountered conditions that led to an intense burn and challenging access to the home due to the property’s layout.
The HFD’s Arson Division is investigating to determine the cause and origin of the fire.
