HOUSTON, TX – Two people were killed in a crash involving an SUV and a passenger van early Sunday morning.
The collision occurred around 1:17 a.m. in the 4200 block of E Crosstimbers. According to investigators, a white passenger van was traveling eastbound when it struck a black SUV. Preliminary information indicates the SUV may have been making a U-turn or lost control, potentially due to wet road conditions.
The driver of the white van was transported to a local hospital with non-critical injuries and is expected to survive. Both the driver and passenger of the black SUV were pronounced deceased at the scene. Their ages have not yet been determined.
