HOUSTON, TX – A man was hospitalized after being shot during a disturbance at an apartment complex in southwest Houston.
The shooting occurred around 11:50 p.m. at The Exchange Apartment Complex located at 1250 Leona Street. According to the Houston Police Department, officers arrived to find a man in his 30s with gunshot wounds to the stomach. He was conscious and speaking with officers before being transported by Houston Fire Department crews to a hospital in unknown condition.
According to the Houston Police Department, the shooting stemmed from a dispute between the victim and his girlfriend. Neighbors reported hearing two gunshots before finding the victim lying in the hallway.
The female suspect is currently in custody.
