Teen suspect detained, second suspect on the loose after aggravated robbery at Atascocita convenience store

HARRIS COUNTY, TX – An aggravated robbery occurred at Lakewood Food Store, a convenience store located at 5820 FM 1960 Rd E, on February 5, 2025 in Atascocita, TX.

According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, two teen suspects entered the store, pointed a gun at the clerk, and demanded money. The cashier complied, handing over approximately $1,800 in cash. Both suspects then fled the scene on foot.

A short distance away, Harris County Precinct 4 Constables detained one of the teen suspects. Investigators from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Division responded to the scene and filed an aggravated robbery charge against the apprehended teen.

The second suspect remains on the loose. He is described as a Black male, approximately 13 to 15 years old, standing about five feet six inches tall with a thin build.

Investigators believe the two suspects may be responsible for multiple robberies in the area, and additional charges are pending.
