HOUSTON, TX – Over a year after the fatal road rage shooting of Louise Wilson, authorities are still searching for the suspect responsible for the deadly attack on the Pierce Elevated.
The shooting occurred on December 10, 2023, at approximately 1:00 a.m. in the 1700 block of IH-45 Southbound, on Pierce Elevated. Wilson and two friends were traveling to Galveston when a black sedan sped up beside their vehicle and fired multiple rounds into the driver’s side. Wilson was killed, and one of her friends sustained injuries. The suspect then fled the scene in his vehicle.
Investigators believe the shooting stemmed from a road rage incident after Wilson accidentally cut off the suspect’s vehicle, described as a newer-model dark-colored four-door sedan. The suspect is described as a light-skinned Black male in his mid-20s with dreadlocks featuring blonde tips.
