HOUSTON, TX – A new establishment named Mr. Washington is set to open this month at 4901 Washington Avenue, the former location of Bottled Blonde. Details about the new business, including its concept have not been officially announced but according to Google Maps it is slated to be a Bar & Grill and that it is going to be open later this month (February 2025).
What happened to Bottled Blonde?
There has been no official statement regarding the closure of Bottled Blonde, but court records indicate several active lawsuits against the business. These lawsuits include allegations that Bottled Blonde overserved intoxicated patrons, one of whom later caused a fatal crash. Another suit claims that a valet withheld a patron’s car keys, leading to a physical altercation with security, while a separate case alleges that a valet caused a serious car accident. Additionally, one lawsuit states that Bottled Blonde overserved a visibly intoxicated patron, who was then allowed to retrieve his vehicle and later caused a major crash, resulting in life-threatening injuries.
Bottled Blonde still has locations in Dallas and Scottsdale and they have a new location opening soon in Las Vegas according to their website.
