HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A pedestrian was struck and killed in a crash on Highway 6 just north of Bellaire Boulevard.
The incident occurred around 10:02 p.m. when a 70-year-old female driver traveling northbound on Highway 6 struck a pedestrian crossing westbound on foot. The pedestrian, described as a Hispanic male between 50 and 60 years old, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Speed and intoxication do not appear to be factors at this time. The driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
