HOUSTON, TX – A man was fatally shot behind the Higgins Legacy Apartments on Higgins Street late Sunday night.
The incident occurred around 10:40 p.m. in an alley behind the complex at 5145 Higgins. According to Houston Police, officers responded to a shooting call and discovered a male victim, estimated to be between 25 and 35 years old, with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Witnesses reported hearing gunfire but did not see the incident. No weapons have been recovered, and police are reviewing surveillance footage to gather more information. At this time, no suspects have been identified, and the events leading up to the shooting remain unclear.
