Deputies arrest murder suspect in AutoZone shooting

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX – Deputies with Constable Ryan Gable’s Precinct 3 Office responded to a fatal shooting at the AutoZone Auto Parts store located at 28803 Birnham Woods Drive on Saturday morning.

According to officials, the incident occurred around 9:50 a.m., when witnesses reported hearing gunshots inside the store. Upon arrival, deputies found a male employee who had succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds.

Witness accounts led to a swift response, and deputies from both Precinct 3 and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office apprehended the suspect in the nearby Legends Run subdivision.

The suspect was identified as 19-year-old William Gabriel Aguilar of Spring, Texas. Following an investigation by Precinct 3 Detectives, Aguilar was charged with first-degree murder. He is currently being held at the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Jail on a $750,000 bond.
