HOUSTON, TX – A documented gang member was arrested following a traffic stop near the 6100 block of Hillcroft Avenue.
According to Captain James Lovett with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office District 3 Patrol, the Crime Reduction Unit (CRU), with assistance from the Houston Police Department and the Texas Department of Public Safety, conducted the stop.
The suspect was arrested for Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon (UCW). Deputies also discovered approximately 1.75 grams of marijuana and about $20,000 in cash in the suspect’s possession.
