HOUSTON – Houston police are investigating after two men were shot Wednesday afternoon in northwest Houston.
According to Houston police, the shooting occurred in the 2100 block of Shadowdale around 4:30 p.m. When officers from both the Houston Police Department and Spring Branch ISD arrived, they found two adult Hispanic males with gunshot wounds. Both were transported to the hospital, where they are reported to be in stable condition and are expected to survive.
Police stated that preliminary information indicated a car was in the parking lot of an apartment complex across from a Spring Branch school. At some point, an altercation occurred, during which a male suspect reportedly fired multiple shots from a rifle out the window of an apartment at the complex into the car, striking the two victims.
The suspect is in custody, officials said. Police added that the school had students on campus only for after-school activities at the time of the incident. No other injuries were reported.
