HARRIS COUNTY, TX – According to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, Pct. 5 deputies responded to an in-progress call for service at the 7500 block of Coral Lake Drive, where units found a four-year-old child with autism unresponsive after being pulled from a lake. Cy-Fair EMS transported the child to a hospital for treatment.
The child was transported in critical condition.
According to investigators at the scene, preliminary information indicates the incident may have been accidental.
The investigation remains ongoing.
