HOUSTON, TX – Houston Police are investigating an incident on the Gulf Freeway near the Woodridge exit, where a man was found shot in the head inside a box truck possibly operated “Bright Lights” (as seen on the back of the truck) leading to an accident after he became unresponsive. Initial information suggests that family members believe the shooting may have been a suicide attempt, although no firearm was found in the vehicle during the initial search.
The man was transported to a nearby hospital. Major Assaults investigators have taken over the case, and further updates will be provided as they become available.
