HOUSTON, TX – A 59-year-old man was killed in a fatal crash early Sunday morning when his BMW went off the roadway and collided with the side of a house in the 2400 block of Hollister.
The accident occurred around 12:30 a.m. Officers arrived quickly and attempted to provide medical treatment. The Houston Fire Department (HFD) performed CPR and transported the man to the hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. No one inside the home was injured during the crash.
Following the collision, the BMW caught fire, but HFD was able to contain the flames and prevent them from spreading. Earlier in the evening, neighbors reported the man, who lived nearby, had been knocking on doors and acting erratically, claiming to have people’s keys shortly before the crash.
