HOUSTON, TX – A teen male was shot following a confrontation involving a female’s ex-boyfriend in the area near Moore and Erin Street early Sunday morning.
The incident occurred around 1 a.m. when the teen was driving with a female. They were confronted by the female’s ex-boyfriend, which led to an argument between the two males. The ex-boyfriend produced a handgun and fired at the 16-year-old teen, striking him in the leg.
Family members went to the victim’s aid and transported him back to their home in the 3500 block of Robertson before calling the police. The teen was later taken to a local hospital, where he is reported to be in stable condition.
The suspect fled the scene but is known to police, who are currently working to contact him.
