HOUSTON, TX – A Bell 407 helicopter registered to PHI Air Medical made an emergency landing at Meyerland PVA, formerly known as Johnston Middle School on September 27, 2024, during a flight from Sugarland, Texas.
The helicopter, with tail number N465P, had one patient on board, who was transported to a local hospital by the Houston Fire Department. The helicopter remained at the school overnight following the emergency landing.
The condition of the patient is unknown at this time, and no further details have been released.
