HOUSTON, TX (May 30, 2024) – Walter Daniel Saravia Palacios is now charged with murdering Diamond Brigman a 36 year old transgender woman.
The shooting occurred back on March 16, 2024, just after 1 a.m. in the 9200 block of Country Creek Drive.
Witnesses told officers then that they spotted a white Malibu stop near the victim. A front-seat passenger then exited the vehicle and fired multiple shots at Diamond striking her multiple times. The shooter then got back in the vehicle and both the driver and passenger fled the scene. The shooter was described as being about five foot five and was wearing a gray hooded jacket.
Investigators later identified Saravia Palacios as a suspect after finding the vehicle.
Police arrested him last Tuesday, May 28, 2024 and he is currently being held on a $500,000 bond. A motive for the shooting has not been released at this time.
