Constables Apprehend Aggravated Robbery Suspect in Harris County

HARRIS COUNTY, TX – January 26, 2024 – Deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office swiftly apprehended an aggravated robbery suspect following an incident at the Valu+Pawn shop on Aldine Westfield Road. The suspect, identified as Juan Juarez, allegedly committed an armed robbery, threatening staff with a knife and stealing over $1,200 from the cash register.

The incident, which took place in the 23100 block of Aldine Westfield Road, prompted an immediate response from local law enforcement. Juarez, fleeing on foot, was quickly located and arrested in the vicinity of the crime scene.

Subsequent investigations revealed that Juarez had previously targeted the same business earlier in the month. Following his arrest, Juarez faced serious charges. Constable Mark Herman stated, “Juan Juarez was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with two counts of Aggravated Robbery with a Deadly Weapon. His bond was set at $120,000.00 out of the 338th District Court.”
