At approximately 12:45 pm on March 9, 2023, MCTXSheriff deputies responded to a call about a stabbing in the 41000 block of Buckhorn Lane in Magnolia. Upon arriving, deputies discovered that a 65-year-old male had been stabbed and immediately initiated life-saving procedures. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is currently in stable condition. It appears that the incident resulted from a family disturbance involving two brothers and their father.
Christopher Lee Hunt was observed leaving the scene and was apprehended by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office shortly after.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Homicide and Violent Crimes Unit and Crime Scene Investigators were summoned to the scene and are currently conducting an investigation. Hunt has been taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail, where he is being charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
