January 3, 2023 – The man who has been identified as Pablo Patino set fire to his wife’s family home after setting the home on fire.

The fire started around 3:30 a.m. on Mortimer Drive in northwest Houston. His wife, stepdaughter, and several of their family members were inside the home at the time.
Police ended up arresting Patino after a standoff that ended when Patino set his own home on fire and climbed out of a window.
